The International Heart Institute of Montana in Helena opened in October of 2002. This full service cardiology practice is staffed by Dr. L.P. Maxwell. Dr. Maxwell has extensive experience in cardiology care, angioplasty, and stenting of the coronary arteries. These interventional procedures are performed at St. Peter's Hospital in Helena. Dr. Maxwell, at the IHI Helena practice office, offers echocardiography, stress testing, pacemaker checks, and general cardiology consultations.
